Tonight’s the Night

Tonight’s the night! We are back at Botley Market Hall again for another great evening of 80s music to entertain you. Here’s just a few reminders to make sure you have a great evening…

There is very limited parking at the Market Hall itself but there is a large car park behind the Dolphin pub next door. However be aware that restrictions apply to this car park so if you are going to be longer than 3 hours you will need to register your car in the pub, so maybe grab a drink in there first! There is also a large, unrestricted public car park about 5 minutes walk from the venue on Mortimer Road.

As before, there is no bar at the venue itself so feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. There’s a Co-Op directly opposite the venue if you forget so you’ll be able to stock up there beforehand and during the interval. We can also recommend the CrackleRock tap room which does a great range of take-out beers. Ideally bring cans as broken glass on the dancefloor is never fun.

Tickets are almost sold out but there may be some limited walk-in tickets available on the door. However, to avoid disappointment we’d suggest getting them before you arrive as we expect to sell out like last time… Doors will open at 7PM and we’ll see you on stage at 8 so here’s to another great show 🙂

Tonight’s the Night!

We’re looking forward to seeing you all tonight at the HICCA. If you still haven’t bought tickets that’s fine, you can still get them online right up to 9PM tonight. We don’t have the facility to take card payments or cash on the door tonight, so please make sure if you’re turning up without a ticket already that you have your phone and card details with you and one of our team will help you out. Tickets are delivered instantly to your phone, so you could buy them on the way or while you’re in the queue but please don’t turn up with cash as we’re not able to give change. Thanks and see you tonight!

Last CHANCE FOR TICKETS!

Yep, we are just over a day away from our gig at Colbury Memorial Hall. Ticket sales are open until 9PM on the night, so if you’re still undecided or haven’t got round to it you could even buy them on the way there! For everyone attending, please do make sure you have the QR code from your ticket email when you arrive, either printed or on your phone is fine, so that you can be scanned in at the door. Don’t forget, there is no bar facility but you are free to bring whatever drinks & snacks you like for the evening. See you tomorrow night!

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS…

Just over 3 weeks to go to our upcoming gig at Colbury Memorial Hall (between Ashurst and Totton) and tickets are still available. It’s going to be another great night of classic eighties tunes, so if songs by Duran Duran, Wham, Nick Kershaw, Spandau Ballet, Van Halen and Queen take you back to the days of big hair and shoulder pads, you won’t want to miss it! There will be many more songs besides so there’s bound to be a classic that puts you right back on the dance floor with a can of Red Stripe in your hand… Grab your tickets now from the events page on our website and we will see you back in time!!

MAY THE 4TH BE UPON US!

We hope you’re all looking forward to tomorrow as much as we are. We’re sorry we can’t squeeze more of you in because the demand for tickets was overwhelming, but we will definitely be looking at doing this again. We just thought we’d remind you of a few details before tomorrow to make things run as smoothly as possible…

Security will be checking names on the door so if you’re a guest of someone else please make sure you know the name your ticket was booked under and have a copy of the ticket email. You’ll get a wristband on entry so that you can re-enter the building once you’ve been signed in. There is no bar at the venue so please bring your own choice of drinks/snacks – there is a co-op directly opposite the venue and at least 3 pubs within a minute’s walk so you can grab always something before the show and during the interval.

The show will start promptly at 8:00pm and finish around 10:00pm with a short interval, so there’ll be plenty of opportunity for last orders after the show too!

If you’re arriving by car, there is limited parking behind the venue itself and on-street. There is a large, free, car park in Mortimer Road, which is 5 minute’s walk away as well as the car park at Botley Recreation Ground a little further up the road. There is also a free car park just behind the Dolphin pub next to the venue, but please be aware of the time restrictions at that one unless you are going into the pub later.

See you all tomorrow night!

P.S. Beware of ticket scammers who may reply to this post as tickets are only transferrable via us – if you’re name isn’t on our list then you will unfortunately be refused entry.
